Art in Exile
The Art in Exile, an initiative by Cultural Harmony Hub (NUN Culture & Arts - Douzan Art and Culture) in Turkey, and Collective Ma'louba in Europe. This initiative aims to promote the cultural rights of the Syrian refugee community in both Gaziantep and Berlin through two key activities: a theatre acting and writing workshop in Gaziantep and an oriental music event in Berlin. In Gaziantep, the initiative will conduct a theatre acting and writing workshop, targeting talented individuals within the Syrian refugee community. This workshop will provide a unique opportunity for participants to engage with theatre arts, a field that is not widely available in Turkey, allowing them to explore and develop their talents.
In Berlin, the initiative will host an oriental music event, offering an exceptional evening dedicated to celebrating the rich heritage of Syrian music. This event will provide a memorable experience for the Syrian refugee community and the broader audience in Berlin, featuring performances that highlight the best of Syrian musical traditions.
Art in Exile is created in partnership with Collective Ma'louba from Berlin, Germany.
