HUB IDEA
SARP (Samanlı ART and PROTECTION), composed of Kayınormanı Association and Çıplak Ayaklar Kumpanyası (ÇAK), endeavours to deepen their understanding of their rural environment. By collaborating with experts, they collect data on local flora, forest science, medicinal plants, and mushroom diversity. This knowledge is shared with the community, fostering a connection between art and nature. SARP’s activities aim to encourage dialogue on environmental conservation, sustainability, and the fusion of art and nature, inspiring positive change and a commitment to the natural world.Istanbul

Danscentrumjette and the SARP hub are engaged in an exchange program focused on listening, connecting, and building bridges. They aim to draw inspiration from each other's practices while exploring new perspectives through reciprocal visits. They embark on a journey that stretches from rural landscapes, movement-based research in the field, and links to urban communities and dance studios in Brussels and Istanbul. The activities will take place in various settings, including the studios of Danscentrumjette (dcj) and Çak, as well as outdoors and in rural environments. Collaborative movement research will be conducted in nature, in the field, and visiting existing collectives. The exploration, outcomes, and artistic practices will be shared through presentations, workshops, and open sessions in both Brussels and Istanbul.
