We are revisiting VAHA Hubs: Cabinets of Local Wonders

Antalya VOYN (Culture Routes Society , ACCI Foundation, Are Projects) and Altenburg hubs (Other Music Academy e.V., Futura e.V., STADTFORUM ALTENBURG e.V.) work on two poetic themes: “the sea” and “the home”. The “Cabinet of Local Wonders” is a nomadic exhibition and a series of workshops, gatherings and events in villages in the regions of Antalya (southern Turkey) and Altenburg (East Germany).

We wanted to reconnect and asked them to reflect a bit on the project they did back then and the stories they collected in Antalya and Altenburg. What stories or objects would resonate most strongly and still have some relevance, and how do all of these feel today given the political shifts in both regions?
