HUB IDEA
Centred in Bursa, hemsâye fosters community engagement with urban commons through cultural gatherings, artistic co-production, and public dialogue. Guided by the themes of “Preserving the Urban Commons", “Transforming Spaces”, and “Resisting Urban Injustice” the initiative brings together residents, activists, and artists to reflect on local struggles and reimagine shared spaces. Community dinners and neighbourhood meetings serve as platforms for exchanging stories and ideas, which artists then translate into creative works. The project culminates in a participatory exhibition that presents these narratives through an artistic lens, emphasising hope, resistance, and collective memory. Led by Yekpare, Roof Coliving, and Tamirhane Community, the hub creates space for collaboration, cultural expression, and grassroots action.Ankara

Roof Coliving works with the dream of sustainable and justly designed common living spaces for the voices of inhabitants to be heard through placemaking approaches. Roof Coliving fosters creative participation through social design and placemaking. It enables everyone to contribute by using grassroots design practices.
