The masterclass by Restart Theater is an experience for women theatre makers seeking to amplify their voices, hone their craft, and forge new pathways in the performing arts. The program fosters a supportive space where participants can explore techniques, share stories, and collaborate to reshape the landscape of contemporary theatre.
Beyond the masterclass, Jenny utilized her time in Athens to network with industry colleagues. Productive meetings were held with representatives from Nous Teatro and Elefsina 2023 – European Capital of Culture, facilitating the exchange of ideas and exploring opportunities for future collaboration. Jenny also reconnected with former EVS volunteers and participants from previous Erasmus projects, strengthening ties and building on existing networks.
A key outcome of the trip was the collaborative design of a new project with Restart Theater, aimed at fostering cross-cultural artistic exchange, social engagement and creating a co-production. Additionally, Jenny had the pleasure of meeting with Greek authors Demetrios Kassolas and Anastassia Politi, enriching the creative dialogue and exploring potential future collaborations in storytelling and theatre-making.
