We are revisiting VAHA Hubs: Ji Çaran Çar Jin Huner

ŞanoWan Theatre Stage, Aryen Art Workshop, and Star Women Association joined forces in Van to form Ji Çaran Çar Jin Huner, which addresses gender inequality, women's consciousness, and gender awareness through the lens of cultural and artistic expression. They also partnered with Oyoun (@oyounberlin) to implement the Culture Jin project. We wanted to reconnect and explore commonalities in the partners’ experiences across different contexts and what VAHA meant to them.
"During your collaboration within the framework of VAHA II, both of you (Ji Çaran Çar Jin Huner and Ooyun) faced direct state violence — including shutdowns and police interventions. How does it feel to see similar threats happening in other parts of the world, and in what ways has your collaboration influenced your resilience?"
