ThisPlace in Porto

“ThisPlace – Stories of displaced people in Chernihiv, Diyarbakır and Porto” was publicly presented for the first time at an event that took place on 19 November 2022 at RAMPA in Porto.
“ThisPlace – Stories of displaced people in Chernihiv, Diyarbakır and Porto” is a collaborative project that proposes a reflection about people who have been displaced, discriminated or marginalised due to ethnic, racial, cultural or political reasons in these three cities in Ukraine, Turkey and Portugal. ThisPlace was developed by the hubs from Chernihiv (comprised of Youth Drama Theatre AmaTea, Private Filmmaking Company and Hryhorii Galagan Chernihiv Regional Art Museum), from Diyarbakır (comprised of a4 Atölye and WePhotos) and from Porto (comprised of INSTITUTO, RAMPA and InterStruct Collective).

In the event, the outcomes of the project were presented: a screening of three films; a photography installation, where three photography series were assembled in a single room; and talks with some of the participants.
